Marek is a 6th year graduate student working together with Tomas Palacios (MTL) and Jing Kong (RLE). In his research, he focuses on using 2-dimentional materials such as graphene to build microscopic 3D devices and systems by applying innovative techniques such as folding. Marek grew up in Berlin, Germany and received his Bachelor and Master degree in Electrical Engineering from Aachen University. Before joining EECS REFS in 2016, he was an active member of the EECS Graduate student association. In his spare time, Marek likes to watch movies, cook, tinker in the hobby shop as well as running and biking.
